topics, improving our abilities to recognise key words in questions and
find relevant key information in texts.

On Thursday of Week 3 Carlton School held its annual Sports Day for our students.
This term our school is taking part in Busking forChange, a fun music fundraiser that helps theIndigenous Literacy Foundation (ILF).
We would like to thank allof our students and stafffor their hard work over the
first 2 terms.
We have made some changes to our school structure to ensure all staff receive their entitlement toa 30minute meal break each day.
A few of our lucky students had the amazing opportunity to record their voices for a new song with Dem Mob, sung in the Arabana language.
In Language and Culture lessons the students heard a story featuring the Wadla carving stone.

I am very excited to return to Carlton School and Preschool as the site leader. It has been eight years since I worked here and there have indeed been many changes.
